Wow… I recently had the most magical experience photographing an elopement in Venice, and I’m still in awe. In the quiet early hours, while the city was still asleep, we glided through the canals on a gondola just as the sun began to rise over the rooftops. It truly felt like something out of a fairytale.

The soft golden light of sunrise reflected on the water, casting a warm glow on the historic facades, while the gentle sounds of the gondola cutting through the calm water created the most peaceful atmosphere. It was serene, intimate, and impossibly romantic a moment I’ll never forget.

The couple had traveled all the way to Italy for this experience, choosing to elope in Venice and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place for it. There’s something magical about this city in the early morning hours, before the streets fill with people. It feels like time slows down, giving you space to truly be in the moment.

After the gondola ride, we wandered through the quiet alleys and over charming little bridges, hand in hand, as the city slowly began to wake up. Every corner, every reflection, every narrow street was a dream to photograph and the love between them brought everything to life.
